Ikarus / copper is a wall-hanging sculpture consisting of a series of geometric regions, each formed by pouring deep cast resin over a section of chromogenic print. Each region is individually sculpted; rising to a different height. When mounted on a semi-reflective background (such as copper) and suitably illuminated, the light play and refraction is infinitely variable. Ikarus / copper - which took 3 months to fabricate - is world unique.
