This work captures its sitter in a quiet moment of uncertainty. The uncertainty is explored in two terms; the immediate future-determining decisions faced by the sitter and the authenticity of visual representation in a digital world. We put on fronts to mask emotion and control a situation but in a world where we become reams and layers of uncontrolled data, the question arises of what or who can put masks on us and wether or not we can see them slip.
